Vision of the Mahavidyalaya:
Our Vision is to create an extremely effective rural Mahavidyalaya that not only produces very high levels of student achievement but also help train the next generation of rural teachers. In the education arena, the Vision of the Mahavidyalaya takes the lead, providing a special platform for Students to follow their dreams. This initiative is a trailblazer, moving away from usual methods to create a environment where each student’s unique talents are not just noticed celebrated. With a focus on personalized learning as well as traditional and modern subject learning and a Commitment to overall growth, “Mahavidyalaya’s aims to shape individuals who not only do well academically but also become confident, forward-thinking contributors to Society. This effort is more than just an educational approach, its transformative journey setting the stage for a future where ambitions become real accomplishments.

Mission of the Mahavidyalaya:
The Prime Mission of the Mahavidyalaya is to impart quality education in Sanskrit to the students of the remote part of the district of Purba Medinipur of the State of West Bengal and also our mission is to help rural students develop higher-order thinking skills, peacemaking skills, and leadership abilities in environment of shared values of nonviolence, equality and unity, by using a combination of the core knowledge curriculum and direct instruction and also promote and propagate. ‘Sanskrit Language’ in this remote part of the state of West Bengal.
1. पश्चिमबङ्गराज्यस्य पूर्वमेदिनीपुरमण्डलस्य सुदूरभागस्य छात्राणां कृते संस्कृतभाषायां गुणवत्तापूर्णशिक्षाप्रदानं महाविद्यालयस्य प्रमुखं उद्देश्यम् अस्ति। अपि च किञ्चित्पर्यन्तं समीपस्थस्य ओडिशाराज्यस्य सीमान्तर्वर्तिक्षेत्रादागतानां छात्राणामपि आवश्यकतां पूरयति
2. संस्कृतभाषायां औपचारिकशिक्षया सह महाविद्यालयः छात्राणां मध्ये मूल्यशिक्षां प्रददाति तथा च सामाजिकतया सांस्कृतिकतया च छात्राणां विकासेषु अपि सहायको भवति।
3. महाविद्यालये छात्रीणां बृहत् प्रतिशतं वर्तते तथा च समाजस्य दुर्बलवर्गात् अल्पसंख्यकसमुदायात् अपि आगतानां छात्राणां महती संख्या अस्ति। महाविद्यालयस्य उद्देश्यं भवति यत् सर्वेभ्यः समानावसरः प्रदानम्।
Objectives of the Mahavidyalaya
1. The prime objective of the Mahavidyalaya is to
imparts quality education in Sanskrit to the students
of the remote part of the district of Purba Medinipur
of the State of West Bengal. The Mahavidyalaya
also to some extent cater the needs of the students
coming from the border districts of neighboring
state of Odisha
2. The Mahavidyalaya along with the formal
education in Sanskrit also imparts value education
among the students and also helps in the
developments of other facets of the students both
socially and culturally.
3. The Mahavidyalaya has a large percentage of girls
students and also sizable no of students coming
from weaker section of society and also from
minority community. The Mahavidyalaya aims to
provide equal opportunity to all ensuring the
students from the weaker community get all the
beneï¬ts and the aspirations and demands of the
majority of the girl students are also taken care of.
